Dr. Geerlings performs minimally-invasive restoration treatments of the skin and underlying structures to reverse the effects of aging in the face and neck. These include neuromodulator injections (ie. BOTOX®), facial volumizing and sculpting fillers such as the JUVÉDERM® family of fillers, collagen-stimulating PDO Threads, Evoke RF face and neck sculpting and tightening, microneedling with the SkinPen and PRP, as well as other procedures that target and treat visible signs of aging. She has undergone advanced training in injection and thread techniques including studying specialized filler injection techniques under the famous plastic surgeon, Dr. Mauricio de Maio from Brazil.

Dr. Geerlings attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, graduating in 1991. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Baptist Medical Centers of Birmingham, AL in 1992 and her Neurology Residency at the University of Alabama Hospitals in Birmingham, AL  in 1995, where she served as Chief Neurology Resident. Although she maintains her board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she has always had a passion for aesthetic medicine and it’s a unique blend of art and science. She is married to and shares office space with, Dr. Bryan Geerlings who is an Endodontist in Newnan, Georgia.
